The 911 Carrera SC was produced between 1978 and 1983. SC stands for Super Carrera and is equipped with the 3.0 liter engine. This particular example has been completely refurbished and ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.

The car is completely repainted in black. During the repaint, body work was done to address all weak points and to ensure the entire body is again in excellent condition. The Fuchs wheels are restored as well. New bumper trim and tail lights were installed. Mechanically, this car has been restored from top to bottom. New Brembo disc brakes and pads are installed. Rear brake calipers are completely new. Shocks are replaced by Bilstein examples to improve handling.

The vehicle in detail

The transmission is completely rebuilt with better synchro’s and an upgraded Sachs Clutch kit. The engine itself is also completely rebuilt with upgraded parts. For example, upgraded timing chain and guides, rebuilt cylinder heads with upgraded valves,… The entire cooling system including thermostat has been replaced. To finish it off, the heat exchangers and exhaust systems are replaced by SSI and Dansk examples. The engine still needs to be broken in after the rebuilt, but est. horsepower should be more than 220hp.

The interior is mainly original. The carpet has been replaced and the rear seats are reupholstered. The front seats wear their original leather and still present well. If desired, we can reupholster them. The dashboard is very clean and in good condition with no damages. All gauges work as they should.

Overall this is one of the nicest Porsche SC’s for sale at this moment and mechanically fully restored.
