Model history

The Porsche 930, better known as the 911 Turbo, was Porsche's first production model with a turbocharger and set new standards when it was launched in 1974. It was based on the classic 911, but with wider fenders, a striking rear spoiler and significantly more power.
As the fastest production sports car of its time, the 930 became the brand's flagship. The 934 and 935 racing versions also enjoyed great success in international motorsport - the beginning of the turbo era at Porsche.
