Porsche 911 930 Turbo 3.3 Convertible
Some models are more famous than others, some are still celebrated years after their production end. But few cars have left such an impression as the legendary 930, when Porsche first bolted a turbo onto the 911. It was a car that was second to none when it was introduced in the mid-1970s and quickly gained a reputation as the hairiest car you could drive on four wheels. This example was sold in Sweden in 1987 as one of 628 cars produced for the European market between 1987 and 1989 in the timeless ‘Indian Red’ color over black Fuchs wheels with polished rims along with a black soft top.
The car offers a timeless and classic silhouette with its wide fenders and large ‘whale tail’ wing. Under the fender is a small turbo emblem and a double-barreled tailpipe that is often compared to the barrel of a shotgun.
When you open the door, you’re greeted by the iconic 300-mph gauge that was only available on the Turbo, as well as an associated boost pressure gauge. The sport seats in light beige full leather and light carpeting contrast nicely with the red exterior. Three pedals and a manual 4-speed transmission. There is a contemporary Blaupunkt radio in the center console. A remarkably well preserved example with a nice history and a newly refurbished engine.
