Remember carIn late 2020, European Collectibles purchased this 914-6, it was very straight and rust-free. The driveline was removed, and a full repaint was performed to the original color Canary Yellow. After the paintwork was completed, the body was reassembled using the original hardware and factory trim. Mechanically, the top-end of the engine was rebuilt, the flywheel was re-surfaced, and a new clutch was installed, the shifter bushings were also replaced, and the entire braking system was refreshed. The transmission was rebuilt including new synchro rings, 1st, and reverse shift sleeves, 1st gear teeth, 2nd and 3rd operating sleeve along with new gaskets and seals. The end result is an excellent running and driving 914-6 that has been cosmetically and mechanically restored as it left the Porsche factory.
Mechanically powered by its matching number 2.0-liter Flat Six engine with a 5-speed manual dogleg transmission. It drives amazing with plenty of power, smooth shifting transmission, and four-wheel disc brakes. Complete with a Certificate of Authenticity, spare tire, and toolkit. The 914-6 is becoming is limited to find and few of them are as well sorted and finished to this level.
