The Porsche 914/6 was a joint development between Porsche and Volkswagen and was Porsche’s new entry model in the model year (1970-1972).
The two-seater car, also known as “VW Porsche”, was a sports car with a central engine. The striking design features include the very long wheelbase for the length of the vehicle, short overhangs, the removable center panel made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, as well as the wide safety bar and pop-up headlights.
