Petrol metallic is the name given to the color on the paintwork of the Porsche, which is repainted and in perfect condition. There are neither external defects nor any modifications to the body of the 964, the repainting was of course carried out in the original color and is in excellent condition, it was obviously worked professionally.
The brakes and the original chassis are in good condition. Porsche CUP II alloy wheels in perfect condition are mounted on the 964 together with tires that are in good condition and with plenty of tread.
The front seats have been given new leather: the beige full leather seats are accordingly as good as new. If you let your gaze wander through the rest of the interior, the adjectives are new and untouched: no damage or signs of use can be found in the entire interior. The equipment includes a perfectly functioning electric sunroof, power steering, central locking, electric windows, air conditioning, ABS, cruise control and a radio.
A total mileage of 119,326 kilometers can be read on the speedometer, the mileage can be documented by a seamless Porsche checkbook and can also be easily traced through the otherwise extensive history. The instruments in the interior all work without any problems.
A lot has been invested in the engine lately: It was extensively overhauled by a Porsche specialist in 2016. The work carried out at the odometer reading 108,187 included: engine revision including stud bolts, cylinder heads, crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings, pistons, timing chain, rear axle struts and an axle measurement for the final work. A total invoice of € 24,500 for the engine overhaul is shown in the gallery. According to the owner, there are further bills for a further approx. € 25,000. In October 2020, various seals and wear parts of the boxer were replaced again, a new timing chain tensioner and spark plugs were installed, among other things. Here, too, all invoices are available. Most recently, in June 2021, a 33-point classic check was carried out at the Porsche Center in Oberursel, including an oil change. The 3.6l six-cylinder boxer engine with modification-free 250 PS shows itself accordingly in complaint-free condition, the Porsche four-speed Tiptronic shifts through the gears cleanly and without jerking.
Overall, there are no complaints to be made about this Porsche 964 Carrera 2, it is in an extremely well-kept condition, even the underbody is apparently in good shape for the age of the vehicle.
