original leather pouch, owner’s manuals, radio manuals, Porsche documentation, original service book and original delivery cards.
The car benefits from an exceptional and continuous history file with extensive invoices dating back to 2006 and a fully documented mileage history through the years. The original service book contains 13 service stamps, later complemented by a large collection of invoices and maintenance records. There are no gaps in the known history of the car.
Approximate mileage history recorded in the service book:
- 1992 – 20,455 km
- 1995 – 41,452 km
- 1997 – 61,107 km
- 1999 – 71,303 km
- 2003 – 93,746 km
- 2005 – 100,327 km
- 2006 – 109,863 km
- 2008 – 119,712 km
- 2009 – 126,405 km
- 2013 – 140,522 km
- 2015 – 148,887 km
Originally delivered in Germany, the car later spent many years in France before joining a small Belgian collection approximately two years ago. It has had approximately five owners from new, including one long-term enthusiast owner who kept the car for nearly 20 years between 2006 and 2022.
This 964 has clearly always been owned and maintained by passionate Porsche enthusiasts. More than €30,000 has been invested in maintenance and repairs over the years, with nearly €15,000 spent recently to prepare the car properly for its next caretaker.
The car was recently fully inspected by Porsche Classic Gelderland. Following this inspection, all advisory points were professionally resolved by a Porsche specialist. Recent major works include:
- Gearbox rebuild
- New clutch
- Air conditioning service and recharge
- Engine seals/gaskets renewed
- Restoration of the heating unit
- New clutch slave cylinder
- New insulation mat
- Fresh service in April 2026
The wheels have recently been refinished and are fitted with Porsche N-rated tires from 2021, still in excellent condition. The car also features the desirable colored Porsche crest center caps.
Cosmetically, the car presents very well both inside and out with only light signs of careful use consistent with age. Some minor stone chips are present, while the rear lights remain beautifully fresh and clear without fading or dullness. The car is described as accident-free, although cosmetic repainting work has been carried out over the years where appropriate. No indications of major or structural accident damage have been detected.
Most importantly, the car drives exactly as a good 964 Carrera 2 should: tight, engaging, mechanical and confidence inspiring.
The 1992–1993 Carrera 2 Coupés are increasingly regarded as some of the most iconic and desirable air-cooled 911 generations, and truly honest, well-maintained examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
