For some time now, the Porsche 911 992 GT3 RS has probably been the most impressive racetrack monster that Porsche has let out of its stable in the recent past. Once again we have to ask ourselves the question: "Can it fly?"
Generating as much downforce as possible was a clear focus of the aerodynamic development of the 992 GT3 RS. This becomes clear when you look at the rear wing with gooseneck suspension, which has grown in all dimensions. For the first time on a Porsche production car, the upper edge of the rear wing is higher than the roof. The area around the upper and lower surfaces is 40 percent larger than on the predecessor (991.2). The rear wing consists of a fixed main wing and an upper, hydraulically adjustable wing element. the total downforce at 285 kph is 860 kilograms. This means that the new RS model generates around twice as much downforce as its predecessor (Type 991.2) and three times as much as a current 911 GT3. The driver benefits from the downforce through better drivability and higher lateral acceleration in fast bends. The basis for this quantum leap is that the GT3 RS has Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) for the first time in its model history and the Drag Reduction System (DRS) also celebrates its premiere in the Porsche 992 GT3 RS. The intakes at the front and rear wheel arches and the central radiator integrated into the hood are also remarkable. Compared to the standard 911, it was necessary to develop completely new doors for the GT3 RS.
These are now made entirely of high-quality carbon fiber and are extremely light. Our Porsche 992 GT3 RS with Weissach package in black presents itself in absolutely new condition. In addition to the Weissach package with visible carbon roll cage, the GT3 RS magnesium lightweight forged wheels and the extended leather interior in black, the extremely extensive optional equipment includes the important and relevant extras such as the Clubsport package, the lifting system, the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) in yellow, the darkened LED Matrix main headlights including PDLS+ and the BOSE surround sound system. Visually, the vehicle focuses on maximum value, the paintwork of the body and the rims was chosen in black and the extended leather upholstery was also configured to match the exterior color in black with contrasting stitching in GT silver. The entire interior design elements, such as the roll cage, door pull handles, decorative inlays and door sill trims, are finished in carbon to match the appearance of the car. This new vehicle with Weissach package in the color combination black/black will certainly give its new owner a lot of pleasure, and also the one or other best time on the racetrack.
