Even though all Porsche 911 models are now turbocharged, the return of the “Turbo” version to the catalogue continues to justify itself with an even higher level of performance. This is certainly the case with the blisteringly fast 992 Turbo S.
Available as both coupe and cabriolet, the new 911 Turbo S stands out with a design inspired by the Carrera 4S: a more aggressive front bumper, larger air intakes carved into the rear wings, and above all, the unmistakable rear spoiler. Even though the era of big whale tails is over, the Turbo S can rely on this retractable wing to add up to 100 kg of downforce at 330 km/h. The new Porsche 992 Turbo S is also equipped with four square exhaust outlets.
Porsche has redesigned the interior of the new 911 Turbo S with a specific stitching pattern paying homage to the original 930 Turbo. Standard equipment includes the GT sports steering wheel and distinctive graphic elements.
At the same time, the engine has also evolved. To satisfy enthusiasts, Porsche has increased the pressure—literally. The new six-cylinder engine from the 992 Carrera serves as the base for the Turbo S. Displacement has increased to 3.8 litres compared to the previous generation, and the variable-geometry turbochargers are now larger. Without going into too much technical detail, the result is impressive: the PDK gearbox now features 8 speeds to handle the massive power delivered to all four wheels through the all-wheel-drive system. The Turbo S accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds.
The all-wheel-drive system includes limited-slip differentials at the centre and rear, while active suspension is combined with standard rear-axle steering. Like the 992 Carrera models, Porsche has chosen an asymmetrical wheel setup, with 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear. Centre-locking alloy wheels also come as standard.
The car offered here is a second-hand vehicle, delivered new in Germany, never accident-damaged and in excellent presentation condition. All maintenance has been carried out exclusively at Porsche. It remains under Porsche Approved warranty until summer 2027.
