HCC is pleased to offer this 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4, painted in Midnight Blue Metallic over a black leather interior. This Euro-specification example displays approximately 166,000 kilometers (104,000 miles) and pairs a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-six with a 6-speed manual transmission and Porsche’s Carrera 4 all-wheel-drive system.
The 993-generation Carrera was introduced in 1993 as the successor for the 964, bookmarked as the fourth generation of the 911 and the final evolution of the air-cooled 911. For the 1996 model year, Porsche introduced a revised engine (M64/21) with improved drivability and smoother torque curve while also coupling refined onboard diagnostics and ECU programming.
Factory equipment on this example includes a no-sunroof configuration, factory short-ratio gearbox (G64/21), and Porsche Varioram System that was only standard on examples produced during the last two years of production (1996-1998).
The 993 Carrera 4 here is an LHD, European market example that was delivered to its first caretaker in Italy. The second and current owner purchased the car in Italy in 2003 as a Porsche-CPO vehicle and enjoyed the car in the UK before sending it to the US in 2020. During the past five years, servicing and maintenance have been performed by Mayo Performance, a local Porsche specialist in the DFW metroplex.
This example is offered with service records spanning over two decades of ownership and keys as well as a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
