The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, produced during the revered 993 generation (1995–1998), marked the end of the air-cooled era. It combined the wide-body design of the 911 Turbo with a naturally aspirated 282-horsepower engine and all-wheel drive, blending style with performance. The C4S featured “Turbo-look” 18-inch alloy wheels, wider tires, larger brakes with red Turbo calipers, and Turbo suspension components. Enthusiasts admired its aggressive yet sleek design, enhanced stance, and superior performance over the standard Carrera. Its all-wheel-drive system improved traction and handling, especially on slippery roads. As one of the last Porsche models with an air-cooled flat-six, the 1998 Carrera 4S remains a firm favorite.

Finished on 3 November 1997, this final-year Carrera 4S was ordered through Rusnak Porsche in the highly coveted shade of Ocean Blue Metallic over optional Cashmere / Black leather with deviating Dark Blue carpeting. It is a rarely seen combination that plays to the C4S’s wide body and well-equipped interior. Selected for factory Tourist Delivery, it features the sporting six-speed manual transmission and was optioned with Motor Sound Package, Hi-Fi Sound Package, rear window wiper, Litronic headlights, and a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer. Perhaps saving the best for last, this final model year air-cooled C4S is offered from its original owner with a low original mileage of just 29,588 miles at the time of cataloging. The clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report confirms single ownership from new with numerous inspections showing careful, limited use and a slow, steady accumulation of mileage over the past 28 years.

Most recently, in preparation for sale, this exquisite Carrera 4S visited European Performance Engineering (EPE) of Natick, Massachusetts for a $13,500 recommended service that included a fresh set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, new muffler heat shields, full brake service with new rotors and pads, spark plugs, ignition wires, engine belts, engine oil service, a new battery, and more. A full accounting of the substantial service is hosted online in the history file. The car also received a recent full detail and paint correction, along with new stone guards to protect the C4S’s wide Turbo-width rear fender flares.

This rare final-year Carrera 4S, just one of 295 produced for the United States, is offered with less than 30,000 miles at cataloging and furnished with service invoices and receipts from its single owner, its original window sticker, Tourist Delivery order form, clean CARFAX, books, tools, and more.
