After we imported the car to Germany in 2013, we sold it to the collection of a retired banker, where the car remained until 2021 but was hardly driven at all. Except for a trip to the Porsche Center Frankfurt for service, which was carried out at 47,204 km in 2015, the vehicle was almost exclusively in the collection.
In January 2021 we were able to buy the 993 RS back from the collection and transported it to the Porsche Center in Münster for a new service and new tires. This service was performed in February 2021 at 47,275 km.
In the summer of 2021, a regular customer of our company, also with a small Porsche collection, bought this 993 RS from us. Once again the car was driven very little and was mostly seen as a collection item. After a few trips, the car has now driven 47,957 km.
Another service at Porsche Münster will be carried out before it is handed over to the future buyer.
The 993 RS is in very beautiful and extremely well-maintained condition. The vehicle was never involved in an accident and was never otherwise damaged. The history is impressively documented and can be fully verified.
The vehicle is in the same version as it was delivered as a new car – without modifications, without tuning, with "matching numbers" engine and transmission as well as all body parts stamped with the same numbers. All the original stickers are still in place and the Porsche AMAG Switzerland badge is also still there.
This 993 RS was ordered and delivered in the “LIGHTWEIGHT SPECIFICATION” – this means it has RECARO bucket seats, a 3-spoke sports steering wheel, manual crank windows, small RS spoiler, no airbags, no air conditioning or other unnecessary extras that spoil the idea Lightweight cars would distort. Only a radio was ordered.
The vehicle has some “TEQUIPMENT” options such as stainless steel door sills with “CARRERA RS” lettering, a sports exhaust with large oval tailpipes and small fog lights next to air inlets for brake cooling in the front bumper.
The shells of the RECARO seats are painted in the vehicle color. The belts are yellow, as are the pull loops in the doors and the embroidered “CARRERA RS” lettering in the rear carpet.
The history is beautifully and sustainably documented in a file folder. From the ordering of the car to the new car invoice, correspondence with the delivering Porsche dealer, the Swiss emissions booklet which completely documents the mileage status, invoices, purchase and sales contracts between us and the owners, etc. Everything is filed in transparent foil!!!
