BACKGROUND

The 993 Carrera 2S is one of the most desirable air-cooled 911s: it takes the wide Turbo-look body and running gear of the Carrera, sending the power to the rear wheels only, through the six-speed G50/20 manual gearbox. With the late Varioram flat-six (M64/21, 285hp) it is the purest, best-looking entry ticket into the final air-cooled generation.

Delivered new in March 1997 in Germany, this Carrera 2S is finished in the iconic Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U) over black leather (LT), a classy combination for the already charismatic wide-body silhouette. It is nicely equipped for grand touring, with air conditioning (573), an electric sunroof (650), heated seats (139/340), electric comfort seat (437), and the cherry on the cake: 18-inch Hollow-spoke Techno wheels (408) from the contemporary 993 Turbo.

The car has been maintained by Porsche and well-known brand specialists throughout its life. The original stamped service book records regular servicing from new, with a fully traceable mileage. To top it off, it was owned by the same enthusiast family from 1998 till 2026 – talk about a perfect pedigree!
