This wonderful example shines, as mentioned, in its dark red exterior, which Porsche themselves call Arena Red Metallic. The color is as legendary as the car itself, as it was this color that was used as the launch color for the model. At first glance, you quickly understand why the car was so loved. Soft clean lines combined with the ethos of function over form make the car naturally beautiful. The large wing that gently folds over the rear is home to the only emblem on the exterior. ‘Turbo’. 18″ Turbotwist rims clad in N-marked Michelin rubber of course over red brake calipers.

Open the door and you are greeted by a functional and stripped-down interior. Black leather upholstery combined with a black carpet set. It is easy to become nostalgic about the charm of a 993 interior. No SportChrono package, no Burmeister system. What was included at no extra cost was a driving experience. Five instrument panels in front of you. Just below there are 3 pedals and in the middle a 6-speed manual gearbox. PDK i-think-not. The speedometer runs all the way to 320 and in the middle the noticeably low odometer reading is noted. Just over 7500 miles on this wonderful Turbo. Another highlight here is of course the sports seats that provide increased support and elegantly carry the PORSCHE script in the back.
