In 2009 the 29,000km car was sold to the last owner in southern France. Mr. Yvon G. was a collector of historic vehicles and owned an Opel dealership. He has taken part in several high-level historic motorsport events, such as the Hito Monte Carlo rally with old Opel racing vehicles, Manta and Kadett. He has guarded the Porsche like the apple of his eye and has only driven 20,000 km over the years. The last major service was in July 2021 for 4,600 euros. The car has since received a new set of Michelin tires. Both air conditioning condensers were also replaced. As a special highlight, it should be mentioned that the underbody of the Turbo has been blasted dry ice in the meantime, which of course makes it an absolute eye-catcher. The car is 100% in the original paint, only the front bumper was repainted and unfortunately, as you can see in the pictures, it is mounted a bit at an angle. This has also been fixed in the meantime and the bumper was repainted, of course the bumper was just installed again, see picture.
The Porsche receives German TÜV papers for sale.
With a delivery in November 2004, this car is certainly one of the last Porsche 996 Turbo X50 in the series.
