The vehicle in detail

The 997 Turbo represents a true sweet spot in the 911 world — the final generation to pair a Mezger engine with a proper 6-speed manual — and this example presents more like a car with half the mileage.

If you have been searching for an exceptionally clean, well-cared-for 997 Turbo in a rare and desirable color combination with all of the major preventative items already addressed, this car deserves serious consideration. Finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over Black Full Leather, this is a highly optioned, unmodified example that has clearly benefited from meticulous long-term ownership. The car retains 100% original paint throughout, and the front bumper is protected by PPF.

Inside, the car features the rarely seen and highly desirable heated Adaptive Hardback Sport Seats along with the Sport Design Steering Wheel. The interior is in excellent condition throughout with no abnormal wear, odors, or signs of neglect (the car has never been smoked in). A Dension Bluetooth gateway has also been installed, allowing seamless audio streaming through the factory PCM system. The previous owner additionally installed the factory child seat airbag deactivation switch — a thoughtful OEM+ addition for those who plan to enjoy the car with family.

In December 2025, the car was entrusted to Goldcrest Motorsports for the coveted “big three” engine-out service, including pinned camshafts, welded coolant lines, and installation of a full Sachs 2.5 clutch kit. The work totaled more than $16,500 and gives the next owner tremendous peace of mind. As you would expect, the car runs and drives exactly as a properly sorted Mezger-powered Turbo should.

We have complete ownership history for the car dating back to the original MSO when it was sold new through Blue Grass Motorsports in Louisville, Kentucky. The second owner acquired the car in 2015 and kept it in North Carolina, while the third and most recent owner purchased it in 2022 and retained it in Atlanta.

The DME report is about as clean as you will find on a 997 Turbo, showing zero over-revs in Ranges 4, 5, or 6. The underside is exceptionally clean with zero rust and no fluid leaks present. There are no active or passive faults/engine lights and everything works on the car as it should.

This is a complete, thoroughly documented example accompanied by extensive service records, both keys, books, window sticker, and a Porsche COA. We have personally driven the car more than 600 carefree miles and have come away incredibly impressed every time behind the wheel. Opportunities to purchase an unmodified, first-paint, properly sorted 6-speed Mezger Turbo like this are becoming fewer and farther between.
