The 911 was also offered with the following engines: 2.0 – 2.4 liter petrol engines (110 – 190 hp). The last Porsche 911 of the original model (F-model) rolled off the production line in 1973. Before the start of 911 series production in September 1964, 13 prototypes were built as the Porsche 901.
The Porsche 911 G-model was a real perennial favorite and was built for 17 years. During this time, engines with 2.7, 3.0 and 3.2 liters were built. The narrow G model (from 1974 to 1977), the 911 SC, the Carrera 3.0 and the Carrera 3.2 were available in a wide range of variants, colors and equipment.

The Porsche 964 is the successor to the Porsche 911 “G model” and came onto the market in 1989. It was offered both with rear-wheel drive as the Carrera 2 and with all-wheel drive as the Carrera 4. In addition, the Porsche 964 was further developed in many areas compared to the G-model, for example it now had power steering and ABS. The engine output of the 964 ranged from 184 kW (250 hp) in the Carrera models to 265 kW (360 hp) in the Turbo model. The used Porsche 964 is still a highly sought-after vehicle today.

In addition, performance-enhanced vehicles were also produced for motorsport, with engine outputs ranging from 221 kW (300 hp) to 316 kW (430 hp). The last Porsche 993 could be purchased as a new car in 1998.
