With a top speed of just over 155 mph and a 0–60 time of 4.9 seconds, the Porsche 930 was (and is) a daily-drivable sports car with supercar performance. Just for the final model year, the 930 received Getrag’s G50 five-speed manual transmission, further improving the car’s drivability and performance. With a new 0–60 time of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 172 mph, the 1989 930 quickly became the enthusiast’s choice of this enthusiast’s automobile.
