Herewith we offer you this beautiful 911 SWB 2.0 S Targa. The top model of the 911 series for the 1968 model year!
This Targa was delivered new to its first owner at the German dealer Schültz in Düsseldorf in December 1967.
It was ordered in the colour blutorange with a black leatherette interior and many options. These options included a fixed Targa window made of glass with heating. At the end of 1967, the Targa always had a plastic rear window as standard. A glass window was available on special request. This was also the case here. Very rare!
In 2014, this 911 was finally imported to the Netherlands. Here, the owner decided to fully restore the Targa, as the beautiful result now proves. During the restoration, the owner decided to paint it in the original colour from 1968, polo red, and to upgrade the interior with a pair of beautiful sports seats and upholster it with Pepita fabric on the centre sections. This gives the whole car a beautiful look. This early 911 S also still has its matching numbers engine and gearbox!
