The 1958 Speedster type T2 is the most desirable, sought after, and best to drive of all the Speedsters from 1954 to 1958 with the ZF steering box, high bow top frame, and a better shifter position that was moved closer to the driver. Finished in its original exterior color Meissen Blue (color code 5703), the condition is simply stunning! The interior is upholstered in red wine vinyl with leather front seats, German Oatmeal square weave carpets, black canvas soft-top, and black boot cover. Very straight body with excellent gaps & panel fit. The undercarriage is nicely detailed including the suspension, engine, and transmission.

Mechanically, it is in excellent condition. The engine is a period-correct 1600cc Normal that is only 50 numbers off from the original and it performs very well with plenty of power. The matching manual 4-speed 644 transmission shifts through all the gears with ease. The drum brakes have been rebuilt with all new wheel cylinders as well as a master cylinder. Complete with tools, jack, owner’s manual, side curtains, and boot cover, this Speedster is fully sorted and ready to enjoy. Rare opportunity to find a T2 Speedster in this condition.
