California Porsche 911S Targa 2.7 from ’77

Originally delivered in California and imported to France in 2018. Since then, the car has been owned by a single owner. The car was never officially registered in Europe and was driven using the owner’s original license plates. A large amount of documentation is available from the period during which the car was in France. A French valuation report from 2019 establishes the replacement value at €55,000, partly thanks to the rust-free bodywork — a major plus for this model. In 2019, the car was tuned on a dynamometer and produced 163.5 hp. For comparison, the original 911/84 2.7 engine was rated at 162 hp from the factory — a very respectable result.

In 2024, the engine received approximately €6,000 worth of mechanical maintenance.

The car is fitted all around with virtually new Continental tires (DOT 2019).

The rear bumper has been converted to EU specification.

A complete set of Fuchs wheels can be supplied with the car at an additional cost.

Points of attention:

The paintwork is no longer in optimal condition, and the ignition switch requires repair. However, the car starts and drives.

As the car has been standing unused for the past two years, we recommend a full technical inspection.

The car is sold with a U.S. title. All taxes have been paid. It carries a Salvage title, originating from a historically high insurance claim. We have no documentation what this was for.

Registration in the buyer’s country of choice must be arranged by the buyer.
