Powerful, engaging, and classic, the 911 R combined the otherworldly 500 PS 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat six of the GT3 RS with the wingless body of the GT3, and crucially, a six-speed manual transmission in lieu of the GT3 RS’s PDK. From the RS, the 911 R inherited its magnesium roof, carbon fiber front and rear lids, and carbon fiber fenders, making it the lightest 911 variant available by 51 kilograms. Its stripped-back simplicity combined with retro styling cues like its Pepita houndstooth-trimmed one-piece carbon-fiber seats and Red or Green exterior stripes linking it back to the 1967 911 R made it one of the most desirable 911 variants of the past decade. It was so desirable, in fact, that it ultimately normalized the idea of allocations and waitlists for those interested in purchasing the most desirable Porsche models and was the first jewel in the crown for 918 Spyder Circle members.

Finished in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in October 2016, this 911 R, finished in popular White, was given limitation number 613 of serialized 991 examples produced. The car’s VIN Analytics report reveals number 613 was optioned with the ever-useful 90-liter Extended Range Fuel Tank and Front Axle Lift System, Heated 18-way Front Seats, Two-Zone Automatic Climate Control, Light Design Package, Bose Surround Sound System, and Illuminated Door-Sill Guards in Carbon Fiber. Additionally, the car was selected with the highly desirable Single-Mass Flywheel with Reinforced Clutch that reduced the rotating mass by five kilograms and added €2.975 to the total cost. Limitation number 613, a German-market C00 example, is notable for the deletion of the typical exterior graphical elements when new; however, Porsche’s classic side stripes have been fitted under current ownership. The interior features Adaptive 18-way Sport Seats Plus trimmed with the optional leather upholstery in Black and stitching in GT Silver.

Shortly after completion, the car was delivered to its original owner who retained the car under single, original ownership until 2024 with approximately 4,400 kilometers accumulated in that time. The stamped Maintenance Book reveals servicing first at Porsche Zentrum Allgäu and later at Porsche Centre Reading under current ownership.
