This 1974 Porsche 914 2.0L Targa, finished in Sepia Brown with a striking tan interior, represents what many consider the best iteration of the four-cylinder 914 lineup. Fully serviced in February 2023 by Jacks German Auto Service in Fountain Valley, California, this mid-engine Porsche, with less than 60k miles showing on the odometer, is ready for its next owner to enjoy. Service included a complete tune-up, replacement of all vacuum and breather hoses, and fuse box cover. A new rear-view mirror was installed, and the headlight switch was repaired. The shift linkage was rebuilt, the gear oil was renewed, and the alternator belt and accelerator cable were replaced.

This 914 is finished, period-correct Sepia Brown exterior resembles the color of a Starbucks Latte. Kumo tires mounted on 15” x 5.5” Fuchs forged alloy wheels with colored-crest center caps, front, and rear chrome bumpers with rubber bumper guards, dual horns, fog lights, chrome driver-side mirror, black Targa sails, and black fiberglass removable Targa top, all complement its warm hue. Trunks, both front, and rear, provide ample storage. When removed, the Targa roof can be securely stored inside the rear trunk.

The two-tone tan interior features Appearance Group options including a three-gauge center console, center armrest with a storage compartment, leather-covered steering wheel with colored Porsche crest, and an updated Sony CDX-GT250MP AM/FM/CD tuner.

This Targa’s 2.0L fuel-injected, air-cooled, flat-four engine produced up to 95 HP at 4900 RPM with a 0-60 MPH time in under ten seconds. It features the updated ‘side-shifter’ transmission that improved shift action.
