The 1965 Porsche 911 Coupe offered here for sale was build on 04.05.1965 and delivered on 26.05.1965. The exterior is fiished in “polo-red”, the interior is kept in black leather. It must have be to one of the very very first Porsche 911 car’s with a sunroof (perhaps the first car), because this option was not offred from Porsche for ordering till the 1966 model year. In addition the car had a tinted front window, two “Talbot-style” outside mirrors, a coloured windshield, a Webasto auxillery heating system, leather interior and a Blaupunkt “Frankfurt” radio. Exceptional well equipt for that time! and today a rare early 911 car with these option. Sometime it it’s previous life the original engine was replaced by an engine out of an early 1966 model year 911 car. Therefor it is period correct but not matching. The transmission is matching. In 2015-2016 the car was restored to it’s present condition and sold thru a very well know factory Porsche Classic-Centre to it’s last owner, for a price of well over Euro 300.000!!  Since then the car was driven app + 300 km.
