Porsche 911 3.0 RS Replica Group 4 FIA – Very good condition – Ready to race PTH

History: This 3.0 RS replica was built on the basis of a 1972 911 2.4 (from the right period!). It was constructed with careful consultation of documents and photos of one of the 109 Porsche 3.0 RS models ever built. As a result, every detail of this car has been faithfully reproduced. It is arguably the closest replica to this exceptional model!

Condition:

Overall: In 2017, an expertise was conducted on the car, confirming its pristine condition. The analysis highlighted the high quality of craftsmanship, both for the bodywork and the mechanics, with particular attention to detail. Moreover, construction photos are available. Today, the car is ready to race on the finest circuits.

Exterior: The bodywork is in excellent condition. We note only a slight dent on the left side skirt. The paint is in excellent condition, as are the 9″ and 11″ headlights and rims. It’s worth noting that genuine RS fenders have been installed on the car, not turbo fenders.

Interior: Inside, the car has been stripped and features a full safety roll cage. The bucket seat is in excellent condition. It is equipped with an RS pedal set with bias adjuster, RS dashboard, and period correct door window openings.

Mechanical: The 294 hp Bosch mechanical fuel-injected engine starts perfectly and delivers all its power. (engine case 930.101.104.5R 3.2, same as in the PTH). The close-ratio 915 gearbox with limited-slip differential engages smoothly and allows for efficient gear changes.

As previously mentioned, meticulous attention has been paid to each detail to ensure faithful replication:
Anti-roll bar,
Steel rear arms,
Large bearings,
Combined spring suspensions,
Large shock absorber caps,
930 brakes and calipers with floating discs on bowls,
Handbrake with RS aluminum calipers,
All RS body reinforcements,
Large RS oil radiator…

It has also been fitted with a new and optimized electrical circuit with all circuits protected by circuit breakers.

Underbody: The car’s underbody is healthy and free of corrosion. Photos are available upon request.
