Following its racing success in the early 1970s, Porsche applied its turbocharging expertise to production with the debut of the Type 930 in 1975. Recognizable by its flared arches, wide wheels, and signature whale tail, the 911 Turbo quickly became one of the era’s defining performance cars. Initially conceived as a homologation model, strong demand led Porsche to expand availability, offering the Turbo not only as a Coupe but also in the far rarer Targa and Cabriolet variants.

One of approximately 115 European-delivery Turbo Targas built for 1989, this 911 was finished in Black over Black and delivered new by Porsche Moreau in Chênée, Belgium. According to its original maintenance booklet, the first owner retained the car until 1990 before it passed to successive Belgian custodians, then relocated to Germany in 2004 and Andorra in 2005. Documentation on file, including inspection records and service invoices, supports the car’s mileage of 79,291 km at the time of cataloguing.

Presented in excellent condition throughout, this rare Turbo Targa is offered with its books, tools, spare tire, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and accompanying records. With its low production, final-year specification, and documented history, this car stands as a compelling example of the iconic Type 930.
