For the US market, in the model year 1976, there was also a Porsche 912 E Coupé available. Its 2.0-liter 4-cylinder boxer engine delivered a power of 90 hp. In terms of appearance, the 912 corresponded to the 911 model from the G-series. However, it had the rounded hubcaps of the original 911.
