This example is as timeless as it gets. The GT3’s rather extroverted exterior is dressed down here in GT Silver over silver BBS RE 1928/1929 rims shod in sticky Michelin rubber. At the rear, the car is of course dominated by its rather offensive carbon fiber wing signed Manthey Racing which gives a hint of what’s hiding underneath. ‘4.0’ is embossed under both wing arms. Which of course refers to the now legendary 4L engine that rests behind the rear axle. An engine that is very likely the absolute sharpest and the ultimate iteration of Porsche naturally aspirated engines.

The interior is, as it should be, upholstered in leather and alcantara sewn together with bright contrasting stitching. The carbon fiber bucket seats are adorned with a gray stripe that runs along the inserts and is broken up by the GT3 emblem. Behind them, of course, you find a black half-cage where the back seat normally resides in a ‘regular’ 911. It’s when you buckle yourself in with the 6-point seat belt and turn the ignition that you understand the seriousness of the moment. There may be cars with more power and maybe a few cars that are faster around the Nordschleife today, but nothing. NOTHING makes you feel like a GT3 from this generation.

Refined by Manthey Racing with receipts of nearly 30,000€, this GT3 has been honed into an even sharper instrument. Exteriorly, the car is adorned with their larger wing, which in combination with the rims and wheel angles says a lot. The chassis is also from Manthey and by extension KW but retains its Noselift function from the factory. Correct equipment, Swedish-sold and with a mere 34582 km indicated, this is the GT3 with a capital G. Fully protected by PPF from XPEL.
