Factory-finished in Grand Prix White over a Cashmere Beige/Black partial leather interior, this 1995 Porsche Carrera represents the inaugural year of the 993 model. The first major restyling of the traditional Porsche 911, the 993 featured a sensuous silhouette that included sultry flares and a tummy-tucked waist. The modern, aerodynamic look was not the only improvement. An upgraded 3.6L engine, new six-speed manual transmission, and new rear suspension completed the package. This 993, with less than 46k on the odometer, has been meticulously maintained. Recent services include a chain housing and valve cover reseal, front strut replacement, new rear shocks, 4-wheel alignment, new battery, and oil/filter change within the past year.

The exterior of this 993 is all original, with paint meter readings available. Michelin Pilot Sport tires are mounted on 18” Turbo Twists wheels and colored crest center caps. Color-matched dual side mirrors, fog lights integrated into the front bumper, discreet, black rear bumperettes, and a speed-activated rear spoiler complement its stark white hue.

The tasteful Cashmere Beige/Black partial leather interior includes a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB AM/FM/Cassette multi-speaker audio system, driver/passenger front seat airbags, power-adjustable seating, power windows and side mirrors, automatic climate control, a rear window defroster, and a switch to manually operate the rear spoiler. A custom leather-wrapped steering wheel with extra padding and deviated stitching completes its elegant look.

This 993 Coupe is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine that produces up to 272 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, newly designed in 1995. An all-aluminum multi-link suspension replaced the classic rear trailing arms, improving ride quality and handling, while at the same time, reducing road noise. As an automotive journalist for Excellence Magazine described it, “No matter what stupidity you attempt to perpetuate, the 993 absolutely refuses to lose its composure.”
