The 3rd generation of Boxster is certainly the biggest evolution that the model has experienced since its release in 1996. The name changes and the Boxster is now considered the convertible variant of the 718 model in reference to the 718 RSK Spyder race car of the 50s. But, it is the mid-engine that undergoes the biggest revolution. By swapping its naturally aspirated flat-six engines for a pair of turbocharged flat-four blocks, the 718 Boxster gains power and torque, making it an even more powerful car than before.

The S version here presented offers even more torque and power (350 horsepower), with the PDK dual-clutch gearbox and the Sport Chrono package which allow the car to sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.2 seconds. Driving is configurable in 4 modes: Individual, Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus and the car instantly adopts a different personality depending on the mode chosen. You will love the optional sports exhaust here present, which makes the 2.5-liter engine instantly go from very quiet to totally resounding.
