Introduced in 1975, the 930 Turbo paired Porsche’s racing-derived turbocharging with the iconic 911 silhouette, immediately establishing a new performance benchmark. Continuous refinement followed, culminating in 1989 when the model gained its most significant upgrade: the G50 five-speed transaxle. This final-year gearbox transformed the character of the 3.3-liter Turbo, delivering smoother power, improved drivability, and a level of usability that has made 1989 examples especially prized by collectors.

Finished in Guards Red over Black leather, this 1989 Porsche 930 was purchased new by Belgian motocross legend Eric Geboers, the first rider to secure World Championships in the 125 cc, 250 cc, and 500 cc classes. Delivered in August 1989 by Porsche in Geel, Belgium, the car was registered and remained essentially unused throughout his 27-year ownership. Factory options included a locking differential, short-throw gear lever, sound package, and electric sunroof.

In October 2015, Porsche Centrum Maastricht performed an oil change and minor service at 1,352 km. Subsequent owners have preserved this example’s exceptionally low mileage, with the 911 showing just 1,429 km at the time of cataloguing. Accompanied by delivery accessories and documentation, this stunning example offers a rare chance to acquire what is likely one of the least-used 930 Turbos in existence.
