With the Porsche 993, the Zuffenhausen sports car manufacturer presented the last generation of the legendary 911 with air-cooled boxer engine from 1993 - a milestone for lovers of classic Porsche technology. The model series was offered in various body variants, including Carrera, Targa and Turbo. In addition to the rear-wheel drive versions, all-wheel drive models such as the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S were also available, the latter with the characteristically wide Turbo rear end. Particularly sporty versions such as the GT2 or Carrera models with increased factory performance underlined the motorsport genes of the model series. The engines ranged from 272 hp to over 450 hp in the top model.
