Hailed as the ultimate Spyder, Porsche’s GT Department took the industry-benchmark chassis of the 718 Spyder and gave it an overhaul in every aspect to turn a driver-focused road car into a B-Road obliterating track weapon. Completely new fully adjustable suspension was fitted, complimented by bespoke centre-lock alloys and bigger brakes from the GT3, as well as the retuned 7-speed PDK gearbox and phenomenal 4.0L flat six revving to 9,000rpm through the head-height carbon fibre intake plenum. It also benefitted from a reduction in body weight and a lightweight roof to bring both centre of gravity and kerb weight down over the standard car.
