The underbody, just like the glass, many seals and rubber components, as well as the lights and other attachments, is still largely in its original factory condition. The original factory stickers and the original underbody protection are still largely intact. These irreplaceable details and the very original, authentic flair make this 3.2-liter model a very rare example of its kind. Although the body was fully galvanized starting with the 1981 model year, most of its contemporaries have suffered significant wear and tear due to daily use. Vehicles originally delivered in Germany, such as this one, are therefore a very rare sight in this condition. The underbody shows no abnormalities; it is dry, clean, and free of deformation, and still features the original exhaust system and heat exchangers.
With a total mileage of just 71,500 kilometers, this is one of the few vehicles that stands out for its very low mileage and is in a condition—both visually and mechanically—that one would describe today as a “year-old car.” The rare electric and heated full-leather seats, as well as the entire interior, are clean and well-maintained, with no significant wear. Despite the low mileage, this car has been serviced exclusively at Porsche centers and, most recently, by two Porsche specialists. We’ve had the opportunity to offer several 3.2 models with low mileage, but we’ve rarely seen such an exceptional example, and we’re thrilled every time we see this perfectly preserved vehicle with its unique history—both visually and during test drives.
The standard equipment on this model from the final production year was already generously equipped. The optional features are also noteworthy, as the vehicle was ordered with, among other things, full leather seats with heated seats for the driver and front passenger, as well as a shortened shift lever for sporty gear changes.
In addition to the original documentation dating back to delivery, the car comes with the complete original owner’s manual, including the service record book and owner’s manual, as well as the full set of keys and tools, which are in unused condition and, in some cases, still in their original sealed packaging.
Thanks to the complete set of TÜV and emissions test reports dating back to delivery, the mileage and history are documented beyond a doubt.
The classic color combination of silver metallic with black leather upholstery and a black Targa bar is, in terms of both design and color scheme, arguably one of the most beautiful ways to drive a Porsche. The extended leather trim, incidentally, covers not only the seats but also the dashboard and door panels, all of which are finished in genuine leather.
Thanks to the expert care of its previous owners, the vehicle has been very well preserved over the years and, furthermore, has been regularly and professionally serviced by Porsche. The service receipts, as well as the corresponding stamps in the service booklet, confirm this maintenance history.
Conclusion: For many Porsche enthusiasts, the 3.2—especially in Targa form—is the most beautiful and certainly the most refined air-cooled model featuring the new G50 transmission. Owning a historic 911 of this quality and in this condition is surely every Porsche enthusiast’s dream. The 3.2 models, in particular, have been in very high demand for some time now, a trend that is set to continue.

The vehicle was first delivered to the original owner on July 20, 1989, as part of a factory delivery by Porsche AG. The original vehicle registration document lists a total of three owners. The original service booklet, including the dashboard folder and owner’s manual with comprehensive service and maintenance documentation, as well as the original Porsche invoices and all TÜV reports dating back to 1994, are available. As a result, the vehicle’s history is complete and can be verifiably documented beyond doubt.

Body.
The body is in very good condition. The doors and hoods close and fit perfectly. All gap measurements for the doors, hoods, and all attached parts—such as sill trim, bumper trim, and decorative grilles—correspond to the vehicle’s original condition upon delivery. The body is completely free of damage and corrosion.
Exterior Paintwork
Based on the paint thickness measurements taken and the resulting values, this vehicle retains its original factory-level paint finish. Only both doors—left and right—have been repainted once.
Attached Parts
All of the vehicle’s body components are complete. They are in nearly flawless condition all around.
Glass
The vehicle’s glass is virtually free of stone chips and scratches. All seals on the vehicle are original, like-new, and fit perfectly.
Interior
Seats and Trim
The entire seating system, the side panels, and the center console are in very good condition. There is no significant wear or damage.
Instruments
The vehicle is equipped with the standard instruments, all of which are in perfect technical and cosmetic condition. All instruments are currently functioning properly.
Powertrain Engine
Based on the vehicle’s fully traceable history, we assume that the engine and transmission are the vehicle’s original powertrain components. Overhauls have not been necessary to date, but regular maintenance has been performed, ensuring that the engine operates flawlessly across all temperature, RPM, and load ranges. There are no suspicious noises or smoke emissions. The entire engine compartment, including the engine and its attached components, is in very good condition. Cold-start performance and engine operation across the entire temperature range—up to and including a constant operating temperature—are flawless.
Auxiliary Systems
All auxiliary units, such as the ignition system, starter motor, alternator, etc., are currently in technically flawless condition.
Transmission
The vehicle’s transmission shifts smoothly under all load conditions; there are no suspicious noises. The transmission functions flawlessly.
Steering
The steering’s function and precision are the same as when the vehicle was delivered.
Chassis and Braking System
The brake rotors, brake pads, and brake calipers were replaced in November 2021. All required maintenance on the braking system and chassis has been performed regularly.
Electrical System and Lighting
The entire electrical system is in near-factory-new condition. No modifications have been made here, but all maintenance and upkeep measures have been carried out, ensuring that the entire electrical system is currently functioning properly in all areas.
