- Complete rebuild of the engine

- New tires
- newly serviced and retuned engine incl. Weber carburetor
About the vehicle:
In order to be able to keep up with an original RS Lightweight in terms of value stability and appreciation, great importance was attached to authenticity and therefore an original 2.7 S from 1974 (no. 1048/1359 vehicles built worldwide) was used as the base vehicle.
The car was in the possession of the previous owner for 15 years and was sold due to lack of time. A lot of time and money has been invested in our possession over the last two years. Among other things, new tires were fitted, the paintwork was painstakingly perfected and the engine was completely rebuilt at great expense.
The Porsche's conversion and rebuilding work is documented by many photos and invoices. 18 years ago, everything was dismantled down to the last screw and rebuilt. Special attention was paid to building an authentic, highly detailed replica of the Porsche RS Sport Lightweight M471.
Engine: 2.7 (approx. 210 hp - with 40 Weber carburetor)
Gearbox: 915
Unladen weight: 920 kg
Tires/ rims: VA 195/ 65 R15 on Fuchs 7×15, HA 215/ 60 R15 on Fuchs 8×15
Version M471: knurled screw seats - rubber floor mats - needle felt carpeting
Original 1st Austrian vehicle registration document and registration (Austrian first delivery).
Details:
Bodywork: GRP fenders were used on the left and right for the conversion, and of course the front and rear bars and the rump (engine cover) are also made of GRP, as with the original RS Sport (M471). This designation stands for lightweight construction and weight reduction. The parts are replicas. Original RS parts were used for the air filter box (plastic box), for all other Porsches the box was made of sheet metal. The rev counter also comes from an RS, as the red rev range on the RS only starts at 7.2 rpm, the other models between 6.2 and 6.8. 915 gearbox, as on the original.
Interior: Also very special and rare parts are the knurled screw seats (flame-retardant Nomex fabric) and door panels, both replica parts, but hardly available anymore. Both were only fitted to the RS Sport (M471). Interior with original felt carpeting and rubber floor mats.
Engine and technology: The original engine output was 175 hp with K-Jetronic / now increased to approx. 210 hp with 40 Weber carburetors (tuned with a performance diagram on the test bench). A sintered metal clutch suitable for road traffic was also installed. Chassis improvement with Bilstein Sport shock absorbers (specially built for historic Porsches). Of course, brakes, brake callipers, brake hoses, exhaust, various bushes, lights, indicators and much more were all renewed (all invoices for the conversion parts are available).
Absolutely top conversion. Very high-quality and professional conversion work, with no expense or time spared. The Porsche was used for many years as a show car at exhibitions and motorsport events.
