One of only 989 Porsche 911 S Targa “Ölklappe” examples produced worldwide for the 1972 model year, this car is number 338. Finished in rare Aubergine with a black leather interior and black carpeting, it is powered by the iconic 2.4-litre flat-six engine, producing 190 PS. The car was repainted and its interior fully refurbished between 2010 and 2015. Its engine was completely rebuilt in Germany in 2015, supported by an invoice of €42,400. Originally delivered with a Sportomatic transmission, it has since been fitted with an original Porsche five-speed manual gearbox, offering a more engaging driving experience. Previously owned by a discerning and highly respected collector who cared for it meticulously, the car drives exceptionally well. Nearly €70,000 in documented invoices from 2015 to 2026 reflect the significant investment made in its restoration, maintenance and preservation.
A beautiful exemplar in pristine condition, to own and drive.
