Built for the 911’s 60th anniversary and limited to 1,963 examples, the 911 S/T is Porsche’s lightest, most driver-focused 992. It pairs the 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six from the GT3 RS (525 PS at 8,500 rpm, 465 Nm, 9,000 rpm redline) with a six-speed manual geared 8% shorter than the GT3 Touring’s. A lightweight clutch and single-mass flywheel developed for this car take 10.5 kg out of the rotating mass. The bonnet, roof, front wings and doors are carbon fibre. Magnesium wheels, PCCB ceramic brakes, a lithium-ion battery and lightweight glass are standard, and rear-axle steering is deleted. The result is 1,380 kg DIN, the lightest 911 of the 992 generation: 0–100 km/h in 3.7 s and 300 km/h.
This Spanish-delivered example has covered just 2,752 km and is a particularly pure and tasteful specification. It has the Heritage Design Package: Shore Blue Metallic paint and Ceramica wheels are available only with this package. The historic 1963 Porsche crest appears on the bonnet, the wheel centre caps and the steering wheel. The PORSCHE lettering and the 911 S/T badge at the rear are finished in gold. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in two-tone Black and Classic Cognac semi-aniline leather. The lightweight carbon bucket seats have Classic Cognac cloth centres with black pinstripes.
It was specified with restraint. There is no roll cage, no LED Matrix headlights and no door decals, which keeps the car clean, light and true to the original S/T. The additions are the ones that make it easier to live with: the 90-litre tank, BOSE sound, front axle lift, privacy glass and darkened rear lights. The car is protected by full PPF.
“The simplest way to make a proper configuration is to always choose the lightest package. That’s the spirit of this car: no cage, no Matrix, maybe BOSE. That’s it!”
