The Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet presented here is a German-delivered example, originally supplied by Porsche Zentrum Bielefeld on June 5th, 1990.
Finished in the highly desirable and particularly rare Slate Grey paintwork, this example is equipped with the sought-after 5-speed G50 manual gearbox.
The car remains in its original configuration, featuring the 7-hole Speedline “CS-Styling” wheels and the correct rectangular mirrors.
In terms of options, this 964 was specified with a tasteful and purposeful configuration. It features heated sport seats for both driver and passenger — a rare option on this model — as well as air conditioning and a tinted windscreen with a graduated green sunstrip. This 964 has had a total of four owners. The first owner kept the car from 1990 to 1995, followed by a second owner who retained it for only a few months in 1995. The third owner then cared for the car from 1995 until 2026. Interestingly, the first three owners all lived in the Bielefeld area of Germany. The car is already known to Mecanicus, as the most recent owner kept it only for a short period.
Showing 86,000 kilometres from new, the car benefits from a complete history file, including its original service book and an extensive collection of invoices totaling more than 60 pages. Maintenance was carried out primarily by Porsche dealerships before being entrusted to well-known Porsche specialists.
A recent pre-purchase inspection confirmed the car’s excellent condition. It has been professionally repainted while retaining its original body panels, including the front and rear lids.
