History & Condition
This Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet 3.6 with factory “Turbolook” was delivered in Germany through the Porsche Center in Aschaffenburg.
The original service booklet, including the vehicle data sticker, is available and documents the consistent maintenance of this Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet 3.6 WTL with a total of 21 Porsche service stamps. The history is supplemented by numerous maintenance invoices and service reports from past decades—documentation that is rarely found even among collectors and Porsche enthusiasts.
The original new-car order dated October 10, 1991, placed with the Porsche Center in Aschaffenburg for approximately 163,500 DM, is on file.
Of particular note is the exceptional provenance: this 964 comes from what is effectively its first owner and has been in the hands of the same owner for decades. The vehicle was first registered in the owner’s company’s name before later being transferred to his personal assets. Such a completely traceable history is now rarely found in a Porsche 964.
Particularly impressive is its exceptionally authentic and pristine original condition. To this day, the vehicle remains free of modifications or retroactive alterations. The original radio, including the radio codes, is present, as is the vehicle data sticker—both in the service booklet and in its original location under the hood. The original vehicle registration certificate and the current one are also included.
Numerous maintenance invoices and service reports from past decades underscore the vehicle’s consistent upkeep.
An inspection report from TÜV Hessen dated February 16, 2022, confirmed that the vehicle meets the requirements for classification as a classic car in accordance with § 23 of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) and thus qualifies for the H license plate.
A vehicle appraisal dated July 20, 2022, certifies that the vehicle is in excellent condition, rated 2+. Overall, this 964 WTL is in exceptionally well-maintained collector’s condition and is one of the rare examples that are virtually impossible to find again with this level of authenticity and such comprehensive documentation.
