After being damaged during a Track Day, the vehicle was then sold via SPEX Japan to the company Freisinger in Karlsruhe in 2005, where it was rebuilt according to the special wishes of a customer, especially for use in driver training courses, Track Days and other circuit events. However, the customer, a Frenchman, was ultimately unable to allow the car because of the welded cell and the amended legislation in France. Thus, the car remained once in the FRG.
The vehicle now has a body with welded MATTER roll bar (like 964 RS Clubsport or 964 Cup), original 964 CUP suspension (strut mount, damper, springs), aluminum front hood and extremely rare aluminum front fenders, rare light metal doors of 964 Cup without side impact protection, RS thin-glass "1057", manual RS rack-and-pinion steering, 3.6 L RS motor with hot film and approx. 300 hp. Furthermore, a brake system from the 964 RS 3.8, Ng GT exhaust from Cargraphic, RECARO bucket seats from the 964 RS 3.8 Clubsport, harness straps, rigid engine mounts from the 964 Cup and hard rubber bearings such as 964 RS in all chassis parts and orig. 18 "Speedline rims in 8 and 9.5 x 18 from the Carrera Cup 1992/1993.
In 2007 I bought the 48,000 km vehicle from Freisinger and sold it to Freund in the UK.
2007 – 2017 the car then ran with my friends and son in the UK and was used for driving lessons as well as track days and "fun rides". They had a lot of fun with the car and were always "fast as lightning" on the way.
In 2017, I bought the vehicle back with 65,000 km and again admitted in Germany to use it for the company also at Track Days. (Biester Mountain, Nürburgring)
At present the car has run 67,800 km.
The car was after the rebuilding by Freisinger both with my friends in the UK as well as with us, always with no regard for costs and serviced. All receipts and invoices as well as pressure loss test and discharge diagrams are available.
