While still in its first owner’s possession, the car was modified to match the appearance of the Carrera RS 3.8 following damage to the rear left side. The work was carried out using original Porsche steel fender flares. Documentation regarding the damage at that time or invoices for the modification are no longer available. As part of this process, the vehicle was also fitted with a rare original 964 Cup engine from 1991. No further technical modifications or conversions have been made since the car was acquired in 1995.
In recent years, the Carrera RS has undergone a comprehensive technical overhaul and has been consistently maintained. Since 2021, more than 45,000 euros have been invested in overhauls and maintenance. All work is documented by invoices.
