VEHICLE HISTORY
This 993 Cabriolet was manufactured in May 1994 and subsequently delivered to Ohio in the U.S. In the U.S., this Cabriolet had a total of five owners in the states of Ohio and Minnesota. Its time in the U.S. is documented by a comprehensive CarFax report. This report contains no critical entries (accidents, mileage discrepancies, etc.) and documents a total of 26 service entries and mileage that has increased steadily throughout the vehicle’s life.
In 2013, with a mileage of 125,616 mls / 200,985 km, this 993 convertible was finally brought back to Germany. In June 2013, the vehicle was re-registered in Germany and has remained with its sole owner in Germany ever since. The owner has gradually upgraded the Cabriolet and had several repair and maintenance jobs performed, including:
- 2016: new soft top
- 2024: Overhaul of the climate control unit, overhaul of the soft top linkage, new rear wing control unit, new air conditioning compressor, new various axle wear parts; a total of 5,000 € invested
- 2025: Installation of KW V3 suspension, new shock absorber mounts, new control arms, clutch kit, wishbones, tires, brake hoses, new clutch master and slave cylinders, major service, rear muffler, oil lines, and much more; total investment of approximately €21,500
Detailed invoices are available for all work performed. The last major overhaul in 2025 was carried out by our shop and was completed less than 1,000 km ago.
CONDITION
The vehicle is generally in good cosmetic condition with a patina appropriate for its age. The convertible has been repainted once in its original color. The paint film thicknesses vary between 108 µ and 453 µ—with a total of 34 measurement points, the average value was 296 µ. The soft top was professionally replaced at an upholstery shop in Germany a few years ago. The interior is still in its original condition.
Mechanically, the convertible is in truly exceptional condition thanks to extensive investments made over the past two years. A total of approximately 25,500€ has been invested since 2024. All receipts are available.
