The Porsche 993 occupies a very special place in the history of the 911. It was the final generation powered by Porsche’s air cooled flat six engine, while at the same time being considerably more modern and usable than the 964 it replaced. Improved suspension, greater refinement and a completely redesigned body made the 993 easier to live with without losing the mechanical character that defines a classic 911. For many enthusiasts, a rear wheel drive Carrera 2 Coupé remains one of the purest and most enjoyable ways to experience the final air cooled generation.
This particular Porsche 993 Carrera 2 was first delivered on 12 June 1995 through Porsche Tourist Delivery in Stuttgart and was specified for the Belgian market. It was ordered in beautiful L39C Midnight Blue Metallic with a full grey leather interior. The specification is also considerably more complete than that of a typical Carrera 2. Factory equipment includes sports suspension, heated seats, ABD, 17 inch Cup wheels, rear window wiper, electrically adjustable comfort seats, cruise control, the enlarged 92 litre fuel tank, tinted windscreen, air conditioning, lumbar support, electric sunroof, onboard computer and extended leather.
