The vehicle in detail

Showing just 69,780 miles, it has received thoughtful mechanical and cosmetic improvements while remaining true to its original character.

We acquired this car in late 2024 and spent several weeks addressing the areas we believe make the biggest difference in the driving experience. The factory 17 inch Cup wheels were replaced with refinished 18 inch Turbo Twist wheels finished in Porsche OEM Felgensilber (9A1) and fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. A Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM+) head unit was installed using our custom cord box mount, while the suspension was refreshed with Koni Special Active dampers, factory M033 springs, new mounts, hardware, and top hats. New OEM headlights were installed, the front of the car was refinished by Sonderwerks, and the driver’s door check was properly repaired. The front end is protected by STEK Paint Protection Film installed in April 2025.

In February 2026, the car underwent another major round of maintenance after minor oil sweating and a leaking power steering rack were identified. The engine was lowered for an engine reseal, including replacement of the upper and lower valve cover gaskets, timing cover gaskets, fresh spark plugs, cleaned secondary air injection ports, and all associated hardware. A rebuilt power steering rack from Vertex Auto was installed, along with all three drive belts. An annual oil service was completed, and the rear brake rotors, pads, shims, and wear sensors were replaced.

 

With over $15,000 in recent service, cold air conditioning, excellent pedal feel, and a suspension that inspires confidence on both city streets and back roads, this 993 is ready for its next owner. It is accompanied by Porsche Classic PCCM+, 18 inch Turbo Twist wheels, factory books, and a well documented history of recent maintenance.
