This Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Millennium Edition is equipped with the naturally aspirated 3.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine producing 300 hp, combined with the sought-after 6-speed manual transmission. As a Carrera 4, the car features Porsche’s permanent all-wheel drive, providing extra traction while retaining the characteristic driving feel of the naturally aspirated engine from the early 996 generation. Factory equipment also includes Porsche Stability Management (PSM). Another key feature of this Millennium Edition is the factory-fitted sports suspension. Porsche equipped this special model with a sports suspension lowered by approximately 10 mm, giving the car a slightly sportier stance and more direct handling than a regular Carrera 4.
The car currently has 154,328 kilometers on the odometer.
EXTERIOR & BODYWORK:
One of the most distinctive features of the Millennium Edition is the special Violet Chromaflair paint, color code 3C4. This color was exclusive to the Millennium model and changes significantly depending on the angle of light. Under certain conditions, the color appears almost black or deep violet, while in direct light, green, blue, and purple hues become visible. Porsche supplied the Millennium Edition exclusively in this color, making it one of the most recognizable factory specifications of the early 996 generation. The car is equipped with the characteristic 18-inch Turbo-Look alloy wheels in a high-gloss finish. These wheels were an important part of the Millennium Edition’s appearance and distinguish it from the standard 17-inch wheels normally fitted to the Carrera 4. Further exterior equipment includes Litronic headlights with headlight cleaning, an electric sunroof, rear wiper, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, and a windshield with a heavily tinted upper section. The Millennium Edition also received a number of subtle model-specific details, including a high-gloss “911” emblem at the rear and chrome-plated stainless steel exhaust tailpipes.
INTERIOR:
The interior is one of the most distinctive features of the Millennium Edition. Instead of the common black interior of the 996, Porsche opted for Natural Brown leather combined with dark maple wood for this version. The leather finish extends far beyond just the seats. According to the Millennium specification, this car features leather upholstery on the front and rear seats, leather trim around the instruments, a leather-wrapped steering column, a leather-wrapped rear center console, and various additional leather details on the dashboard. Dark maple wood is used on multiple interior components, including the three-spoke sports steering wheel and parts of the door panels. The gear lever and handbrake combine dark wood, aluminum, and leather, giving the Millennium Edition a completely different atmosphere compared to a standard Carrera 4. The instrument dials feature an aluminum look, also a characteristic detail of this special model. The comfort equipment is extensive and includes electrically adjustable comfort seats for driver and passenger, heated front seats, lumbar support for the driver, cruise control, air conditioning, an on-board computer, and an electric sunroof. The car was also equipped ex factory with the Porsche information and navigation system, digital sound package, and a Porsche CD changer.
A particularly important detail is the original Millennium Edition plaque on the center console. Each of the 911 examples received its own individual production number. This specific example is number 856/911.
DOCUMENTATION:

The car comes with the original booklets, including the stamped service book. The car currently has Dutch registration and a mileage of 154,328 kilometers.
