Our opinion:

Wider and more aggressive than the Carrera and Carrera 4 narrow bodies .

It is the ideal sports car for daily use, but take it easy because the moment you set foot in its natural habitat, such as a circuit or a mountain road, it will show you what it is capable of.

The acronym Turbo already speaks for itself…

Already at 2,700 RPM, when it reaches its maximum torque of 560 Nm, we immediately feel how the 420 CV catapults us when reaching 6,000 RPM, tamed and controlled thanks to a traction control that is very effective.

Today the 996 turbo shows us an indomitable character only digested by its sophisticated all-wheel drive system of the time.

This Mezger engine was not affected by intermediate shaft (IMS) problems, unlike all M096’s and some M097’s
