Our opinion:

Wider and more aggressive than the Carrera and Carrera 4 narrow bodies .

Today the 996 turbo shows us an indomitable character only digested by its sophisticated all-wheel drive system of the time.

This Mezger engine was not affected by intermediate shaft (IMS) problems, unlike all M096’s and some M097’s
