What makes a Porsche 911 so incredibly beautiful? It comes down to several elements: a sleek body, timeless curves, and details that reference both legendary motorsport history and modern sportiness. But the secret lies primarily in the fusion of these elements: the blend is unique and exceptionally beautiful. Combined with 19-inch Carrera S wheels featuring a satin platinum finish, it’s not hard to picture a castle or country estate. The interior is no less impressive: the 2+2 cabin is upholstered in tasteful black leather with perforated seat surfaces and white stitching on the seats. The Alcantara headliner, velour carpets, leather dashboard and door trim, and the GT steering wheel are also black. Aluminum accents on the Tiptronic S gearshift, dashboard inlays, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles, door sills, and 8-way power-adjustable seats [incl. memory en lendensteun] effectively round out the package.
This 997 was delivered new in mid-August 2006 by the dealer in Hamburg to the owner of an exclusive garden furniture store. The Dutch new price, including options, was €140,123. The second, German owner also used it for business purposes [bouwbedrijf] from July 2010 to March 2013. Under the latter owner, the car was imported into the Netherlands and driven by a single owner until December 2021; for the first 6.5 years for business purposes, and then for over 2 years privately. The fourth owner purchased the car from Waalgarage and traded it in with us in 2023. The last owner drove it for business purposes for over a year, but due to changes in the youngtimer regulations, he traded it in for a modern Mercedes-Benz. To the best of our knowledge, the car was always stored indoors, connected to a drip feed, and—in addition to careful warm-up driving and timely maintenance—was fueled exclusively with premium gasoline.
Dealer maintenance was performed at 23,431 km [9-7-2008], 40,363 km [27-7-2010], 60,529 km [19-3-2012], and 92,205 km [8-11-2013]. Subsequently, maintenance was performed by Porsche specialist Waalgarage at 121,545 km [6-3-2015], 150,700 km [11-11-2016], 184,997 km [2-5-2019], 201,895 km [27-7-2021], and 216,531 km [6-1-2023]. The latter service involved a minor maintenance check with fresh transmission fluid and filter. The front brake pads, various hoses, and brake fluid were also replaced in January ’23. All invoices are available for review. The MOT is valid until April 10, 2027. The previous owner had a pre-purchase inspection performed by specialist Longhoods; as a result, we invested €3,000 in major maintenance [12-5-2025 bij 220.886km] and repairs to the cooling system. Subsequently, another €8,000 was invested in new tires [Michelin Pilot Sport 2 met N2-codering], control arms, ignition coils, spark plugs, thermostat, engine mounts, transmission fluid [+filter], battery, and the Hardy disc.
In April 2025, the car was appraised at a replacement value of €39,500; this report is valid for 3 years. If the youngtimer scheme becomes applicable again, the tax value is set at €17,500. The vehicle has a clean accident history. Except for the passenger door and the rear right panel, all paintwork is still original; these two panels were repainted solely for cosmetic reasons. Aside from minor stone chips, there are no deep scratches, dents, or curb damage. Over the past year, the wheels have been repainted, the headlights and fog lights have been refinished with clear coat, and the paint has been ceramic-coated. There has been no smoking in the car, and the interior feels fresh. All electronics function properly; the car shifts smoothly, and the engine runs cleanly, with no smoke during cold starts. Both keys are included; the original PCM system is no longer present. After the photo shoot, the climate control switches were replaced.
