Mods: 3.6 Liter stroker motor with 964 RS cams, 3.6 crank, headwork, etc. built by S-Car-Go Racing approximately 7k miles ago ($31k worth of work). The G50 transmission was also gone through at the same time (approx. $4k worth of work). The original engine was turbocharged by Protomotive, but was later blown, which is the reason for the low chassis mileage. Rob, the owner of S-Car-Go Racing in San Rafael, CA, actually owned this car prior to my purchase.
It has original 964 Speedster paint matched hardback Recaro seats, which are worth approximately $20-25k. The brakes are 993 Turbo “Big Reds” and there are Bilstein coilovers installed in the rear. I had the custom 3 piece 18″x9″ and 18″x11″ OZ Futura wheels built at a cost of $7k. I also had the DME rebuilt and a custom chip from SW (Steve Wong) Chips installed. Other mods include: Strut tower brace, 964 Speedster door panels with upgraded power windows, 964 aero mirrors, custom aero door handles, and custom red gauge surround with white gauges. The front bumper is PPF’d.
This Speedster is dialed in and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it across the country. It will receive more attention than just about any car at a show. I was invited to park in the hypercar section at an Oakley car meet, while they turned away Lamborghinis and Ferraris.
Here is additional information about the build including a few photos >>
I have shown this Mega Speedster at Porsche Air|Water in 2024 and 2025, in addition to Luftgekühlt 10 at the Universal Studios Back Lot. The amount of attention it receives is unprecedented, whether on the street or at a show.
Some cars were featured in 1 photo, but mine was featured in 2 photos in each of these articles:
