A low mileage 1989 Porsche 964 C4, LHD German specification, recently imported from Japan where it spent the majority of its life. Produced on the 22nd March 1989, making this an early 964. The car covered 41,800Km (25900 Miles) between 1989 & 1994 when the car was then put into storage until now. Some initial work has been carried out enabling us to ensure the car runs however it now needs to be taken to the next level. This would be an ideal candidate for a back date project, hot rod, outlaw or being one of the early 964’s restored it to its original condition. The fuel tank & fuel lines have been drained & cleared, oil changed & engine serviced before starting. A new fuel pump & new distributor was required but now the engine runs well & sounds smooth however the car is currently suffering from electrical issues with the ignition system which we have not attempted to resolve, this will require further investigation. The brake lines have been flushed & callipers are free & working. The body & chassis are in great shape, other than the rear bumper which has had a knock & a scuff on the front bumper. The paintwork is tired & dull with some scratches etc however it is the original paint so may be able to be improved. The interior is completely original and in very good condition other than a small hole in the drivers seat back which would be an easy section to re-trim. The car is running on genuine OZ Racing 17″ split rims which would need to be refurbished but are now a desirable set of wheels. I do also have a set of D90’s which could go with the car if a factory look is preferred. Spare wheel & factory stickers still present under bonnet.
